Headline: Housing 2014: more dwellings and a lower vacancy rate than in 2010

WIESBADEN – There were 41.0 million dwellings in Germany in 2014. Based on results of the microcensus, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was an increase of 570,000 or 1.4% compared with 2010.
