Headline: Consumer prices in December 2016: expected rise of 1.7% on December 2015
WIESBADEN – The inflation rate in Germany as measured by the consumer price index is expected to be 1.7% in December 2016. Compared with November 2016, consumer prices are expected to increase by 0.7%. On an annual average the harmonised index of consumer prices is expected to be up 0.4% in 2016 as compared with a year earlier.
The final results for December 2016 will be released on 18 January 2017.
