Headline: Slight drop in number of traffic accident fatalities in April 2017

WIESBADEN – In April 2017, a total of 239 people died in road traffic accidents. Based on provisional figures, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was a decrease of eight traffic accident fatalities, or 3.2%, compared with April 2016. The number of persons injured declined by 12.0% to roughly 28,300 compared with the same month a year earlier.
